Overview
This policy describes how CRM Assistant processes information when you use the product. It is written to stay accurate as tools are added. It does not claim certifications or guarantees that CRM Assistant has not independently established.
Information processed through CRM Assistant
CRM Assistant processes information needed to sign you in, keep your workspace isolated, and provide the tools you choose to run.
Account and installation information
We store identifiers for your user account and the connected business installation so results and settings stay scoped to that installation.
Authentication information
We store session information so you can remain signed in. Session identifiers are stored in browser cookies used to authenticate requests. We do not put access tokens in those cookies.
CRM connection information
When you connect a CRM, CRM Assistant stores connection records needed to call that CRM on your behalf. OAuth access and refresh tokens are protected using encrypted server-side storage.
Contact and conversation data
Tools such as Unanswered Lead Alert read contact and conversation information from your connected CRM so they can show who may still be waiting for a response. CRM Assistant does not need complete message bodies to provide that check and does not use that content for advertising.
Usage and audit information
Limited activity records may be stored, such as that a scan was run and how many results it produced. Those records are used to support the product and investigate issues. They are not used to reconstruct message contents.
Security practices
We use industry-standard protections appropriate to a hosted application, including encrypted storage of OAuth tokens, tenant isolation so one installation cannot read another installation's data, and access controls on authenticated features. No security practice can eliminate all risk.
Data retention
We retain account, connection, configuration, and audit information while your installation uses CRM Assistant and for a reasonable period afterward as needed to operate the service and meet legal obligations. We do not promise a specific deletion deadline.
Third-party services
CRM Assistant relies on hosting, database, and CRM providers you authorize. Those providers process information according to their own terms and policies. CRM Assistant only requests the CRM access needed for the tools you use.
Your choices
You can disconnect CRM access, sign out, and contact us to ask questions about the information associated with your account. Some records may remain as needed to operate the service or comply with law.
Changes
We may update this policy as CRM Assistant changes. The effective date at the top of this page will be revised when we do.
